To successfully operate our social enterprise within the three principles of a circular economy – to design out waste and pollution, to keep assets in play for as long as possible and to regenerate our natural resources.
reXtore was created to support businesses overcome the typical challenges of designing & fitting out commercial interiors in a sustainable and circular way.
At the heart of reXtore is our 2nd Hand Shop, a purpose-built Re-Commerce marketplace primarily for the retail, F&B and commercial sectors. We work with F&B and Retail Establishments who are closing down and salvage a select range of ‘pre-loved’ furniture and equipment.
The marketplace, in turn, provides a platform for people looking to furnish their new café or store with good quality, reusable furniture or equipment, providing a second life for these items and within a reasonable budget.
reXtore has its own sustainable design and build service that leverages assets from the 2nd Hand Marketplace via a rental or ‘buy-back’ model ensuring that assets remain in use for as long as possible. This approach enables us to implement our vision for dynamic and sustainable spaces that change on a regular basis with careful programming and curation.
With all staff trained on the principles of circular design and build we maximise the eco-friendliness of any project while drastically reducing waste and CO2 emissions. We also provide training workshops on the topics of sustainable design, build and asset recovery.
To build a successful Social Enterprise, that becomes the all in one design studio and source for designing and delivering ‘green fit-outs’ in a sustainable and circular way.
